Overview of the Delray Beach Tennis Center

Delray Beach Tennis Center is a full-service public tennis facility with 14 clay courts, 7 hard courts, and an 8,200 seat stadium located in the heart of Delray Beach, FL just to the west of the world famous downtown area on Atlantic Avenue. The Delray Beach Tennis Center is the home site of the April 2007 and 2005 Fed Cup (USA vs. Belgium), the April 2004 Davis Cup (USA vs. Sweden), the Delray Beach ITC (ATP Event), and the Chris Evert Pro Celebrity Tournament. The stadium also frequently hosts many other events, such as concerts and national television commercials.

The Delray Beach Tennis Center features 19 lit courts, an upstairs pavilion and conference room, and a pro shop with a locker room, racquet stringing and merchandise. The club offers a wide variety of adult and junior programs, leagues, clinics and camps. In addition, the Delray Beach Tennis Center has a second location, the Delray Swim & Tennis Club, located on Jaeger Drive. The Delray Swim & Tennis Club features 24 clay courts and a new clubhouse that opened in the summer of 2006, that has a pro shop with merchandise and locker rooms. Both sites are owned by the City of Delray Beach and managed by JCD Sports Group of Delray Beach, FL.

It is the mission of the Delray Beach Tennis Center, in connection with the Delray Swim & Tennis Club, to become recognized as one of the best public tennis facilities in South Florida while serving the needs of the citizens and entire community through well planned tennis programs and a wide variety of well managed amateur and professional tennis tournaments.
